The 100x100 goal is to create 100 centaurs in Finland. To push this forward, we set out to understand how today’s Finnish centaurs have actually been built by interviewing 21 centaur founders. Based on their learnings, we’ve packaged this playbook for you to implement in your startup.

This playbook holds two things, side by side:

• a narrative playbook you can read like a series of articles (universal patterns, B2B, B2C, and company mini-playbooks), and
• the raw Insights database, where every learning from the interviews is captured, tagged and searchable by stage, theme and company.

You can skim the stories, dive into the data, or jump straight to the companies and patterns that look most like what you’re building. However you use it, the goal is simple: help you avoid some of the pain, copy what worked, and give you a clearer path towards building the next Finnish centaur.
